Our Story Began at Home
Long before Signature Note Candle Company had a name, candle making was already part of Travis's story.
He first learned the craft while working for a candle maker in high school. Years later, that passion found its way back into our home when he began making candles for us.
What started as something personal quickly became something we loved sharing.
Friends and family would come over, explore our collection of fragrances, and spend time smelling different scents. Before long, they weren't simply choosing favorites—they were combining fragrances and creating candles that felt uniquely their own.
Then people began asking for more.
They requested particular scents. They came back to create new combinations. Eventually, they started asking if they could buy the candles we were making.
Signature Note Candle Company grew naturally from those moments.
Today, we're a husband-and-wife team, often with our kids lending a hand, and that same spirit of discovery remains at the heart of what we do. We thoughtfully create fragrances that can become part of someone's home, memories, and everyday moments.
We believe fragrance is deeply personal. It can remind you of somewhere you've been, someone you love, a favorite season, or a feeling you can't quite put into words. Sometimes the fragrance you connect with most isn't one you expected at all.
That's what inspired the idea of a Signature Note—the scent that feels distinctly yours.
What began around our own home, with family and friends gathered together discovering fragrances, has become an invitation for others to do the same.
